Write about the Dynamics Between Alcohol, Your Relationship to Alcohol, as well as Aversion, Attachment, and Ignorance. In your journal, write down your experience with the addictive use of Alcohol and The Three Poisons. Specifically, write about your Attachment in the past to alcohol, drinking alcohol, the effects of alcohol, the state alcohol put you in, etc. Next, write about Alcohol and Aversion. How have you used alcohol as an escape to avoid or run away from things you dislike (including difficult feelings and emotions)? Or to make boring or stressful things/people/places more tolerable? Finally, write about your experience with Alcohol and Ignorance. Has Ignorance been a barrier to long-term progress in alcohol recovery? Writing about Your Relationship with Alcohol and how it interplays with Attachment, Aversion, and Delusion will help you rewire your brain, reprogram your mind, and refortify your resolve.

“This book has been very helpful and inspiring to me in an attempt to quit drinking. Even after reading the whole thing, I pick it up for inspiration. I have chosen to go into outpatient therapy, but the book has helped me stay on track.” – Satisfied Customer
